what's the t5 to go for whats the one to have?

What is it 850/v70 or something else will any of them average 30mpg+ when driven say 35 miles on decent roads with only a couple of junctions requiring stopping, mostly 40-70mph A road with flowing traffic

I'm thinking sub 4k value prefer manual but happy with auto as most seem to be unless ex plod
