Towing with XC70

Hi does any one know what the max rated weight you can to with a 2007/8 onwards XC70 is? My current v70 d5 Euro three is brilliant but I have a large race shuttle and hores box to tow. This currently means we have two vehicles I was wondering if I could get away with just one. I know they are appreciably worse on diesel but realistically will it do 40mpg in a steady run up a motorway
