Mk1 V70 wheel fitment

Just looking for some advice so I don't make an expensive mistake. Im looking at putting some aftermarket alloys on my mk1 v70. But I can't seem to find much information on fitment. Does anybody have any information currently the car has 15 x 6.5 wheels with a 43 offset. I was looking at some 18 x 8 are these to big. Will I need to roll the arches or just get the right fitment any advise would be greatly appreciated cheers guys.

Not sure about the arches but they will probably foul on the bottom arms on lock ,on the later cars with larger 17" wheels they came with the blocks fitted
