I find the stats on the Ridc website very useful.

Nice.
This is ours. Settled in now as a cracking family car, and excellent commuter vehicle.
- Lots of room for all our stuff, a toddler and two good sizes dogs, without feeling too huge to drive on the roads.
- Very comfortable place to be, adaptive is great especially for stop start rush hour traffic moth both motorway and urban.

Silver is the best colour I think.I run an S90 as a private hire. Been a great car so far although I’m still trying to resolve and vibration at speed that’s becoming a bit frustrating to cure.

Lovely motor. Yes, it's a car that can tick a lot of boxes and practical and stylish at the same time. This is ours. Settled in now as a cracking family car, and excellent commuter vehicle.

Yes, my dads outgoing XC70 was silver although this particular silver seems to pop quite nicely and looks really well. It's kind of my wheelhouse too - I'm a monochrome sort of guy, black, grey, silvers. I've 3 cars in my driveway, dark grey, grey and light grey lol. Like a snip from a dulux colour chart.
My dad is over the moon with the step up in features from XC70 into the much more modern V90

Why not post up with more details in the technical sections on PH, there are lots of experienced people on there willing to advise.E-bmw said:

Hopefully all in hand. When I got the car last year it had pretty poor brakes and a slight judder at speed. Brakes changed and there was a big improvement but felt the judder was still there. FF a couple of months and the judder was getting worse and when braking from speed. In to get the alignment checked they thought it was ok and their conclusion was the front discs are warped. It’s back in tomorrow to get the fronts changed again but a couple of weeks ago it was in at Volvo for a service and they picked up on inner tyre wear so that’s going to have to be checked again after the brakes are done. Hopefully the brakes are the cause of the judder and new front tyres and alignment is the end of the saga!

Possible seized caliper...had very similar issues on another car and that was the cause. When I got the car last year it had pretty poor brakes and a slight judder at speed. They were apparently fine when the pads/discs were changed. There is a slight squeal for a second when you apply the brakes seems to be coming from the rear.Mechanic says they share the same brakes with jags and they are known for there issues.
I’ve just purchased (pick it up in a week) a 70 plate S60 T5 Inscription Plus. Really not sure why the saloon didn’t sell well as it’s a very handsome looking car IMHO. SUVs are nice but really don't drive as well as a decent saloon/ estate.
Got the blond leather interior and combined with just how comfortable the thing is to drive it’s a lovely place to be. It’s not as taut as a 3 series but that’s not what I was after. It also has pretty much every gadget I’d need bar adaptive cruise.
Looked at a 3 series touring (same year) and a 420 Gran Coupe (69 plate) but they just didn’t feel as solid or comfy to drive.
I’d have preferred the V60 but in the spec, age and deal I got I’m more than happy with the S.

Nice. I've got the blond leather too which looks great. My worries about keeping it clean were unfounded, still looks as good as new. Just give it a spray now and again with leather cleaner (I use DoDo Juice Supernatural) and watch out for the dye on new jeans!Got the blond leather interior and combined with just how comfortable the thing is to drive it’s a lovely place to be. No adaptive cruise? I thought you would have had Volvo Pilot assist as standard on the Inscription. Is that not the case?Got the blond leather interior and combined with just how comfortable the thing is to drive it’s a lovely place to be.
