My 2020 XC90 T8 is due for its service in August ( few months away I know), but the car will have only done 4K miles since last service (12K in total) and 90% of that has been on electric drive........Volvo want £600 for the big service, hence my dilemma - the car doesn't warrant a big service?

It's Volvo approved and warranted until August too, after that I'll look outside of Volvo for warranty.

Should I bite the bullet or go for an adaptive (reduced) service in line with the mileages involved?

Anyone tell me what's involved in the major (Year 4 service)

Volvo have told me previously there's nothing to do on the electric system at a service.

Thanks all

I suspect any half decent warranty cover will need you to keep the car serviced in line with the manufacturer's schedules (mileage or age).
