My claim to fame - the first post on the Volvo forum.
Sad Git!

come on - there must be one or two shed-draggers out there! (That's a controversial comment to get the forum up and running...)

Hi!

We've got a Volvo 850 T5 - no shed dragging though, it doesn't have a towbar.

Sadly I don't have any photos of the Flying Fridge in my profile. If anyone wants to look though, they'll just have to make do with pics of the Cerb and my old Griff.

My god, you mean everyone on this site doesnt have a TVR,................

Mine is a lovely silver 54 reg Volvo S80T5, very pleased with it, even if the wheels to need lots of TLC to keep them clean.

Previous was a Granada Ghia 2.9 V6 which really set the standard for:-

a) Auto
b) Cruise control
c) AC

Those are the 3 things I looked for on the Volvo, luckly picked up an ex demo from Arlond Clarke, had it just over a year, first MOT, two front tyres, blimey, cost of those............. scary

(Just checked profiles above), Well at least youve got a TVR and a Volvo, I just know you love the Volve best

850T5 as the family wagon. Beginning to feel a bit rattly though so may have to make way for something else soon. Think I would like to upset the sandalista and get an XC90, especially where I live Trade in price is gonna be dire though

V40 T4 Manual Phase II July 2000. 72K miles.

New turbo last week, due to what appears to be a fracture caused by a casting fault.

Ahhh Mrs Fish .. Prey Tell, Whats the Sports SE Spec like ?
is the 2.0D engine as good as the writeups say ?

Im looking for a replacment for my old V70T5 as far as spec goes, and am hoping to get as good if not better acceleration / performance and economy as my Current VW Golf TDI 130.

Seems to be a few folk out there with both a volvo & a TVR, I thought I was strange! at least I'm not on my own. The cerbera shares a garage with a rally prepared volvo amazon, the cerb's a little bit quicker, but they're both as much fun in the wet!

Probably the most under rated car i've ever owned is my current phase 2 V40 T4! very quick and comfortable. Classic Q car I think......(not quite as quick as my other car though, TVR Chimaera!)

Well here it is, no not the garden, the S80T5, you either love them, or you dont.

Leather heated front seats, cruise control, auto, AC, just good to drive, especially on the A90 Aberdeen to Edinburgh, and the M74, both which lack congestion. God I do have feel for you drivers south of Preston.....
