Boot on the S60 is a very decent size I think.... For a saloon car anyway.
I agree. Its bigger than the boot on my Passat of the same vintage was, thats for sure.

Mine has a 12" sub and enclosure in it yet still swallows my outdoors kit, 85l rucksack, boots etc when I go away into the hills without issue.

Is there any way of seeing which speaker system these have? Any give away on the HU etc at a glance?

Look in the boot at the shelf speakers. Yellow is best smile but blue is still ok!

Thanks! Next question, what's the 0-62 on these in different HP? From looking on AutoTrader there seems to be 2 or 3 different times quoted.

Thanks smile

Found a nice one which I'm just waiting to see back from the seller on the engine cover colour smile

Then again, even if it's a Euro 4, I do 60 miles a day, mostly motorway so the 180 version wouldn't be the end of the world.

Car has been fine for years!

Get in it today and the key is jammed and won't go past position 2! £400 to fix

Breakdown assistance get the car strarted and the gearbox is playing up and 5th gear is hard to find. It baffles me how a car can be fine on one day and then 2 problems occur that appear to be unconnected.

I dread the bill, could be the end of my Volvo !

Don here: http://kalmar-union.com/

He sells MTE remaps with similar outputs and has been doing for many years. He'll know.

I know it's a V70, so may not belong in this thread, but I picked up a 'Holy Grail' Euro 3 facelift manual today. 05 plate, immaculate inside and out, a wedge of bills where no expense has been spared. 110k on the clock. So far, absolutely chuffed.

If I hadnt had one, I wouldn't have believed it.

I'm not saying it's not credible. Would be nice of someone to take it up to the mil. I think this is the same Volvo which was a private hire and it was mentioned some pages before this one

Well I'm going to succumb to temptation and buy an S60. Thanks to this thread I'll be looking for a facelift Euro3 D5, but I'm going to hunt down a Geartronic.

I'm reasonably handy with the spanners, so even the thought of replacing a valve body in the gearbox doesn't concern me too much, especially as brand new units are available for approx £400... I'll definitely be flushing the gearbox oil as a priority though.

Wish me luck!

Shame you need a geartonic, mine is manual but up for sale at the endnof the month.

A new toy means 6 cars in the household, and the volvos role is being performed by the BMW so pointless paying company car tax and it sitting idle. So the time has come.

I just serviced it and put new bosch glowies in it as well. Ah b*gger hehe

I'm after something like this. I do like the light interior, but I think I'd prefer black. Other than the toppy price what's not to like? Other than budget tyres and it needing a cambelt, and it never having had a transmission oil change - I still want it rofl

Any corkers out there? I'm in Northampton but happy to travel. smile

Light interiors are very prone to cracking, I've found.
