C30 T5 or D4

Hi, I don't know if it's an early midlife crisis but only a couple of years ago I was driving a Lotus Elise R. I then bought the new TT. And now I'm obsessed with getting a Volvo! (C30).

I have briefly tested the T5 and the D4. Never had a diesel and I thought the D4 would feel slow but it felt quick (even 0-62, it felt much quicker than 8+ secs).

Fuel economy isn't crucial to me but i don't want much less than I get with my current 2.0 tfsi TT. Does anyone have a C30 T5 and can tell me what mpg they tend to get? Does anyone have a D4 (I doubt it, bit early?) or can give a view on the performance differences? I know the old D5 engine was virtually the same BHP as the D4 but was almost a second quicker to 62.
