I've had good experience of the Michelins mentioned. Just took a pair off the front of my D5 C70 that lasted 15K or so. I've found the longest life with decent grip and wet performance to be from Pirelli P7 Cinturatos on my V70 T5, and we had some Bridgestone Turanza (sorry can't remember the exact model) that lasted about 5000 miles where we usually get 10k - 12k.

I am trying the new-ish P7 Cinturato Blue on my C70 and so far they've been great. As someone else mentioned the P6000 actually seems to work well on the V70, mine had a pair on the front when I got it and I had no issues with wet or dry grip and they lasted well. It surprised me as they were absolutely lethal on the rear of my Mk1 MX5 - we're talking about the back sliding gracefully out at 15MPH on wet roundabouts.

As you can see I'm using touring tyres rather than sports focussed tyres, as these are lardy great barges so that seems more appropriate!
