Volvo s40 t4 help please

Hi all
Am new to all this as had to sign up in desperation for help,a week ago I purchased a s reg Volvo s40 t4 155k on the clock that was running good,I had given it a few beans and was running great,but in Wednesday took it out to spread it's wings,but started noticing smoke coming from the engine bay and exhaust,so drove it home and kept it running and revving and it got no better and smelt smokey,left it till yesterday and went back out and started her up,all was ok for the first two mins,nothing coming out at all,then I think cos being a stainless steel exhaust had a bit of water dripping from exhaust and a bit of steam,but am sure nothing to do with head gasket as coolant is all ok etc,if I then revved to 4000 rpm and let go of the pedal and blue smoke seems to cone out with a dirty smell coming out but not as bad as it was and nothing from engine bay,I had noticed while driving quite hard,once in every 5 accelerations it would slightly stutter in high revs,but am sure the turbo is ok,so now I just don't know where to turn or what to do,so beg anyone who could offer help or advice,thank you all matt

Probably be the oil return pipe on the turbo, they always go on them.

Just do a search on the net for the problem should be loads of info on it.

I don't want to sound silly but what would be wrong with the oil return,I'll look into it,but not sure what it is and what I'm looking for,sorry am a turbo noob,cheers Matt

Im going from memory but im sure the seal that attaches to the end of the pipe at the turbo end basically perishes and leaks oil, not a major issue just a pain.

Yeah had a look into it,and looks a good chance it could be blocked,just gotta find it now lol,thanks for the help

Sounds like a blocked PCV system - A sure sign of it being run on crap oil - clean out the breather system - it'll be full of carbon and "black death" Get some quality oil in it - I'd recommend Shell Helix
