It might take some convincing SWMBO that a crawler crane and truck are approriate 40th birthday present, but I'll give it a go.

Quite like the look of the small seaplane in the background of that video - is that new too?

I'm loving the two new sets, but i'm also starting to like the Le Mans Racer. I've always disliked it, but its really growing on me.
It had better be a good model - I have got two of them!!!!

contemplating buying the le mans racer, does anyone have a picture of it next to the f1 car (42000) it looks like the same wheels so should be similar but wanted to be sure.

I'm liking it built like this more than I was expecting, the tear down and LMP build might have to wait a while ......

That's what I was thinking, looks practically the same. Where are the new ideas?

Not really that impressed by the big kits, we've seen it all before.

London Toy Fair = Security Guard, if you get your Camera out you get shot in the face....
Nuremberg Toy Fair 5 Days later = Oh thats fine just take a video and stick it on youtube...

At least you lot get to see the kits. Up close and personal the Merc is good, lots of features. Whilst Im not excited (as its basically a fancy Unimog) it certainly looks to be a very good model technically. I just wish they could have come up with something else and released this in the few years time once the Unimog had been forgotten a little??

Crane is decent. I found it a bit flimsy, but this is the trade off for having the size which will no doubt wow some customers into buying it.

Fire Plane. Nobody really talks about this, but this is a neat model. Decent size and good "play" for what is only a £44.99 line.

Group Buy will be sorted nearer the time...but Id start saving and sweet talking the Mrs now!! Merc is the same as the Volvo at £169.99 RRP and the Crane the same as the Cargo plane at £109.99 RRP.

Just finished the latest racer. Good build, took about 4.5 hrs. 2 parts missing though that I have had to order from lego frown
