The Bucket Excavator was a Cyber Monday Deal, like the Tower Bridge.

Thanks guys - the Lego offer expired at midnight last night so missed out.

Checked on Jadlam earlier & found that Russy was out of stock.

So I have £25 at Amazon to spend and after the Porsche build I need more Lego!

I'm tempted by this https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01CCT2ZLS/ref=mp...

So actual cost to me £64.99, is it a good build along that of the Porsche or should I find something else to spend the credit on?

CLAAS Tractor's nice, as is the 42039 24 Hours Race Car for similar money.

The CLAAS has Power functions though .... added "play value" wink

They vary quite a lot - I think Black Friday was the largest concentration of deals I've seen this year (so I bought way too much) but they exist throughout the year. Technic sets always seem to be available for 20%+ off the RRP when they've been out for a few months, though not permanently.

I see from a trip to Smyths at the weekend that the GT3 is down to £174.99! That's a healthy £75 under RRP.

Rather painful to see having ordered two from Russ as part of the group deal (neither built yet).

I thought it would have been more exlusive - seems not.

Thanks!...I just ended up buying the GT3 and Bucket Wheel Excavator, I already have the caterham, unimog, mk2 crane and a truck stored away for a rainy day.

GT3 has been around that since the black friday deals.

Really tempted by it as well as some of the creator sets like the VW camper etc. Going to be expensive christmas period

I've sent a message to the better half stating I've been good and not purchased anything, hopefully she gets the hint!

I'm sending you positive thoughts and good tidings instead, what with it being the holiday season and all I thought you'd prefer that.

Just picked up the GT3, wow, what a build ... took all day to complete box 1.

Will probably only be the model I build (lack of space to store things) but just fancied it, used to love Lego as a kid ...
