It's great. One of the better Technic sets. So you sell the sets alongside retailers?
Yes unfortunately. We started to get them about two weeks before the shops did. But our price was just silly compared to the shops (I think we got it under 200 eventually........). We sold a few to some of the dealerships around the country but not many at our price.

If I were to build any set at the moment it would also be the tractor! It's the unsung hero of the range if you ask me - as all attention is put on the higher price points of the 42055 and 42056...

As for value it's stupid, the RRP is £119.99 and Amazon started selling out of the blocks at £89.99! It got as low as £56 on Tesco which is completely unnecessary, but offers ridiculous good value for you!!

It's a shame, but apart from stock we sold at launch we have had to sell this set stock at break even and at that we are still a lot more than the big boys... so similar to the claas chap we've stopped promoting the product as it's simply not worth our while.
It's a shame. I do wonder what is going on with legos pricing as I've never paid RRP on a Lego product.

The last items I got was dimensions. RRP £99.99 current price from various sellers £50-65 and highest it's been on Amazon is under £90 level packs £29.99 pop into most shops and you can get 2 packs for £25

It's a gear selector between forward, neutral and reverse. You change gears via the paddles.

There's some switches behind the steering wheel tensioned with elastic bands. You'll know them when you see them, the steering wheel mount assembly is quite a large lump and it's all in there.

Is this amount of parts left over normal?
I do have 2 parts missing.
I have finished the build.

Started my GT3RS build this weekend.

I've built some lego Star Wars stuff for my nephews the past few Christmas days, but nothing like this - really enjoyed building it, and kind of blown away by the complexity, especially the gearbox. Amazing how someone can design this and get everything to work!

Stage 1

I've not built this kit but it doesn't look like there would be many of those parts in there, shouldn't be too hard to go through the manual to find where they go I guess...

Why is it so expensive? I keep looking at it too see the level of complexity but can not see anything in there to justify the cost. Think i got a set for my son which was about £180 or something but that had some motors and a wireless remote.

I wanted to buy one but £250!

They were £150 in Tesco before Christmas, and you can get them for c.£175 now.

I have just finished the GT3 that I got for Christmas and I have a similar number of bits left over. I was thinking that I ought to take it all apart and start again!
