I am now 3 nights into my Mercedes AROCS build.

It is my first Technic build, having already done the VW Camper, F40, Caterham, Mini Cooper, Ecto-1, X-Wing UCS, Millennium Falcon and Shield Helicarrier.

What a different experience technic is from normal Lego - I am really really enjoying this one!

spending roughly 2-3 hours per night over past 3 and listening to 80s tunes as I build - sheer bliss biggrin

Good to hear, I'll be starting it this weekend after doing a similar list to yours over the last year or so!

Rebrickable has had an update and they now show the value of your sets ... not sure how it's valued. Need to keep this page away from SWMBO .....

eek
I've just laboriously added all my sets to see what the value is, but whilst it shows the sets, it doesn't show the value - just 'Estimated value £0.00 based on 0% of the sets'?

How do you make it account for the sets you have in your list?

It just did it ... They do say they're having some problems.

Did you try logging out and back in .... I had to do that to get it to recognise the ones I added this week.

I did earlier and it made no difference. Just tried again and the total shows.... 90 sets, £8.5k eek

Better not show the wife!

And yes, I should build some, but but have been lured away by Lepin for the mo smile

If anyone knows of a good deal on the BMW GS bike let me know. I want to get one but it doesn't look like it's worth £50 to me.

Just had a look on the rebrickable site and apparently my 14 sets are worth over £7.5k!
Where do they get these figures from?

Sadly it looks like my GT3 build will be coming to an end tonight.
I only build on Friday and Saturday nights and got a load done last night so only have the near side front quarter to do now. I have thoroughly enjoyed it though.

I do have two other kits to do but they're only small ones. What would anybody recommend as another big, complex build?
I like the look of the Arocs but don't think funds will stretch that far at the moment.

Finished the 911 build and it's suitably impressive and large and orange. Not sure what to do with it now though! Don't really have a place to display it. Might just disassemble it and sell it on.

A couple of subtle mods I saw on a Facebook group for the Porsche

And someone else is selling stickers for the side, I've got a pair ready to go on, they cost about £8 inc p&p from abroad

Seems like a good deal, I'm not sure I'm sold on the ship yet, I want to love it but not sure by the finished look.

I wasnt sure about the ship either (still not convinced) however due to the ToysRUs price match I got the Claas knocked down from £129.99 to £89.99.

I also got staff discount so even if it looks a little naff when I get round to building it it won't have cost me much in real terms.

Mine said £6500, based on 63% of my sets. I guess they older sets couldn't be accurately valued.

I may/may not have 8043 Motorized Excavator if anyone's missing it from their collection.

Been built and sat on the shelf for about 2 years, got the box (been in the shed so it doesnt look brand new) and instructions.

My claas tractor arrived today. I won't start building until Friday night which seems a long way away at the moment.

Pretty excited by the size of the box though. Can't wait to get into it.
