That seems very keen if it's complete.

Been offered a boxed, unstickered 42055 bucket excavator for £130.

Decent price?

Revisiting this one as it’s been a while. And it’s a fab build!

Definitely. I paid £125 second hand and just finished cataloguing and sorting the parts before build and missing about 95 parts. (luckily only cost about £8 from Bricklink

Has anyone built 42164 Off-Road Race Buggy yet?

It looks staggeringly good value for all the functionality.

The car chassis - set 8860 - has been one of my favourites since it was released in 1980, and now lives amongst its more modern compatriots...

I built the fire plane this weekend - bought it because it was heavily discounted, but it turned out to be a really nice build, and decent play value. I definitely didn't run around the workshop spinning the propellers and making aeroplane noises much.

First time I built this up it worked perfectly.

Second time.....not so much!

This time.....perfect again! Apart from having to drop the rear diff (fitted at stage 31) when I realised it was the wrong way round.....at stage 341.

Such a great build!

The lad (he's 36 ffs!) has just finished the crane I bought him for Christmas, I think it looks fantastic. Now of course, I've got to get him another...

He built it upside down redface
Australian edition wink
I'm coming round to the big crane more and more, personally speaking it didn't give me the "omg must buy" tingles when it was released but I did like it.

And now it's £399 on Amazon and Smyths.... wink

Ordered Concorde last night too! biggrin Got a bit of a backlog of sets to build now but I need to get more storage/display units first.
Now cheaper still, in fact it appears to be cheapest ever - £381.86 on Amazon.

Not really into Lego but browse this thread occasionally, eldest built the McLaren F1 car last year, then I saw this:

"Ordered Concorde last night too!"

There's a Lego Concorde? OMG, and it's in stock at my local Argos. OMG, and I'm on annual leave tomorrow!

Also, that crane looks epic.

The Concorde is very nice, but the Space Shuttle is better…

You'll also need the Saturn V then...

A great build as are the Shuttle & Concorde. Not sure which is best, I'm thinking the Concorde, but that's probably as it's my most recent build.

Be careful, Danish plastic bricks are very addictive!

Just finished the rough terrain crane (42082) tonight. Started it in late 2020 and just before completion we were joined by a Labrador puppy, which kinda killed the build dead. Oh, and there was a problem with the wheels not turning. Anyway, picked it up the other night this week, fixed the differential problem (was in the wrong way round!), that was a bit of a bd to get into. Now completed the final two bagged sections. It’s a really interesting build. In due course I’ll break it up & then punt it on (never keep kits). Now have the nice dilemma of what’s next, probably the Ferrari. The big crane is physically way too big, might hang for August to see what drops. Not like I rush things hehe

Both Concorde and Saturn V are great builds and impressively big when complete.

The Saturn V and The Space Shuttle where probably equal favourite builds of mine.
Concorde is next, so will see how that goes.
