After a few more evenings it's finally finished, well apart from the stickers. Took about 6-7 hours in the end but really enjoyed it.



The cat wasn't too impressed that I was using her footstool to take the pictures on:




Just need to find somewhere to put it so its out of the reach of the cats now and eyeing up the next model to buy and the LMP1 car could be a good match so count me in, (pending further details, been an expensive month so far)

I've hung mine on the wall - a loop of string around the suspension hung on a picture hook at each end.
Free's up shelf space and the cat can't get at it.

I too am under the 'don't you fking dare buy anymore Lego this year' death stare from swmbo.

Just before Christmas she discovered the Crane & Volvo digger that I bought in the last two group buys. She then googled them to see how much they were selling for.......

Its easier to hide plastic model kits and toy soldiers than mahoosive technic lego boxes, and I have had the stare.
