Haha.

I was in the same boat with the JCB digger a month or so ago. I just didn't want to face the wrath of the wife when the huge box turned up hehe

I go away for 6 months in a couple of weeks, if I spend time building it before I go, she'll feel neglected and it'll cost me, somewhere along the line. That's £300 I've done on Lego this year, and she's madly eyeing up, and hinting about, a Kors bag. Goddamit.

My dad has that white truck, black one with the helicopter and the white and red on with the jet.
Hoping he'll pass it down to me in his will

The black low-loader with the helichopter is worth a fair amount of £££ these days.
I still have this one built up, with box, in the attic. Also got the whit truck above the camper van and the yellow jeep and the speed boat from the Model Team collection.

Just done the Volvo digger thing, really enjoyed it but not as much as the Unimog, that said, built up this is more fun as it's motorised smile

So is it 20% off the website price? Think I may be adding to the ones flying out the door!

20% off who what where?

20% off RRP or some other price?

I notice Spain Amazon currently has 20% off RRP on that kit, but is it cheaper somewhere else?

Cheers

Easter20 gives you 20% off product.

Shipping is no longer free on the website, it's £2.99. BUT, it's all first class or DPD courier.

Should be some deals to be had compared to most retailers. However I haven't checked against Amazon and I don't bother as they often sell stock at below cost...)

So today i decided to bring in the Le Mans car, 42039, that has been in the boot of my car for many weeks since I bought it from Russy.

I told swmbo that I had bought it a couple of weeks ago however as I had been working away I had 'forgotten' that it was in the boot....

She said nothing although I got 'the look' that they are all capable of giving.

After a while she disappeared into the living room & returned with a Lego Technic kit in her hands.

Which was also 42039..........

Bugger thinks I.

All she said was 'I assume that you bought these sodding things from a bloke off the Internet'.

Which I did.

So now I have to explain how come I have bought two Le Mans cars.

Currently I cannot think of a good explanation.

So, basically, I am in trouble over Lego yet again.

I did think of blaming Russ however that isn't fair even though he is currently offering 20% off all Lego!!
