How do you get in the 'discount group lego buying club?'

Made the green recovery truck the other day - can't put my finger on why but it is a lovely bit of kit.

Can you still get the volvo for a good price?

Russy and/or Podie will post n here that they are sorting out a PH group buy & they will invite people to register their interest in whatever kit(s) will be in the group buy.

When the kits are with Russy he will confirm by email, to those who have expressed an interest, exactly what is on offer & what the cost will be.

It is that simple - you pay Russy & he sends the kits.

Be warned - he's a bugger who sucks us in with his offers & it's extremely hard to resist.

Every time I say to myself 'no' & almost every time I spend money with him!!!!

Every time a new Lego box arrives I blame it on 'some bloke on the Internet'.

SWMBO is also not a fan of Russy!!!!!!

You boys keep telling me your Mrs's dont like me, but they all tell me otherwise wink

Plus as I have said before we also have another side of the Business which sells Hair, Skin and Beauty products. When we do the next GB I will make some packages up with some Nail Varnish, Chocolates etc so you can pull that out of the Box as you come in the door...

We watched the Secret lego documentary the other day.
That gave MrsB some perspective on my lego habit.

You know what, that's not a bad idea at all. Seriously. Worth a few extra quid, in my (henpecked) opinion...

Just finished building 42028, the mid sized dozer.

Nice build, I like these size kits - not too complex and time consuming (although the Unimog still ranks as the best Technic kit evar!), but with a nice amount of features and accuracy.

About three hours total build time, now the kids are playing with the Father's Day present they bought me...

What's the score with the Amazon pricing on that? According to them the RRP is 315gbp?!

It's clearly nonsense, a lame marketing technique. The Lego store has it at £169.99, so I was happy at 127; camelcamelcamel showed the price has only once been lower, and only briefly (and, interestingly, never at 315!). I missed out on the Unimog and I don't wish to miss the boat again.

I have been given the LM car for my birthday and started musing about putting some motors in. All my motors are in sets in the loft. I have just accidentally bought the Volvo.

I don't like going in the loft.

That's my excuse and I'm going to run with it hehe

Motorising the LM car just works the doors and rear bodywork, doesn't it? If done the official way, anyway.

I'm thinking of selling my bulldozer 8275 and excavator 8043, complete and with original boxes and instructions. If anyone is interested, drop me a message.

Yer, me too. And the Crane, and a Recovery Truck. Damn Amazon suggestion thing at the bottom. I did save £311 though!
