are saying that the Merc is too close to the UniMog, I sort of see that but I also see the B model for the Merc which is what is selling it to me rather than the main one. Now that looks cool biggrin

I wasnt going to order, but on the back of that review ive bought a 42043.

Cheers Russy! smile
I thought it looked to similar to the Unimog, not a bad thing as I am a Mercedes Fanboy. However my collection is also missing the Crane Mk 2 which I could buy instead, what were people's thoughts on that one ?

Initial orders compared to previous rounds are showing the Merc to be unpopular with you lot....

It certainly looks like a great model and technically I was impressed - however I think LEGO should have left it a couple years before releasing something so similar to the Unimog. But on the flipside any of you who didn't get a Unimog, you'd be silly not to grab one of these - they are big fun models with a complex build.

Just had a proper look at that review - I quite like the look of it.

I'm desperately trying to avoid getting the card out, I'm meant to be spending my money on a holiday this year....

I can see the original Butlins from my house, across the harbour.

Even got a hotel now.

The party weekends must lead to a measurable UK population increase nine months later...

The flights are booked, just minor things like hotels and car hire to sort... Must resist!

Damn you Russy. I was strong, didn't sign up for the offer and thought I'd be fine. My previous weaknesses however came back to haunt me, as I'm still on the PH special offer mailing list, that buckled my resolve somewhat, then that review yesterday crumbled it a bit further. Have just ordered the Merc truck and am now going through the Interflora process to butter up the wife (enough chocolate around the house as it is, but good idea Russy).

It was more intended as a laugh, but yup some of you have taken me up on the offer for the Milk Tray - no Ferrero's yet! I just need to make sure I remember to get the Mrs to put them on the weekly shopping delivery and then resist the urge to eat them all at home....
