Bucket wheel excavator is £112 from Tesco Direct. Just waiting for them to supply me one that does not look like its been kicked round the warehouse! furiousfurious
Oh well after FOUR goes I finally gave up trying to get Tesco to deliver me an excavator that was not damaged. I am loathed to pay full price, I might try ripping Tesco a new one and see how they will compensate me for their inability to deliver an item undamaged. Not holding my breath though.....

My Bucket Wheel box was lightly damaged on one corner of the bottom of the box so I wasn't too worried.

Was more pissed off that they failed to supply me with the Class Tractor that I paid them for - and when I complained it was suddenly back in stock at £107!!!

wkers.

cjs racing.

I had given up hope of getting this kit for a reasonable price, as prices climbed after it was discontinued. Don't they always.

But I won an auction for a N.I.B. one, for just £21

It didn't stay in the box for long, as you can see.

I miss England for cheap products. Everything is full price in oz and no discount supermarkets

I'm at the end of box 2, no shortages but a few left overs, always small items, the largest being 3 black pins from each box which had me panicking I'd left a pair out of each box's build sequence. What were the shortages you found?

Blue long pin
Black spline that used on the air intakes on the engine.

Absolutely loving the Claas build.

Reminds me a lot of the Arocs truck (in a good way). These models have to be the best VFM Lego sets out there at the moment.

And all of that is from 'bag 1', so plenty of rummaging to be done smile
I know a chap in the U.S mid-west who works for them
The company's actually based in Le Mans! hehe

I still haven't built my Volvo kit from about 3 years ago. frown
Probably better putting it on the Bay of Fleas.

What do you guys think of the Claas Xerion? I work for Claas UK and we've put a block on sales as we just can't match the price of retailers.

Embarrassing when we make the real machine in Germany...

It's great. One of the better Technic sets. So you sell the sets alongside retailers?

I haven't built it yet, but it was available for £60 for quite some time.

Maybe throw in a free one with every full size one, biggrin.

If I were to build any set at the moment it would also be the tractor! It's the unsung hero of the range if you ask me - as all attention is put on the higher price points of the 42055 and 42056...

As for value it's stupid, the RRP is £119.99 and Amazon started selling out of the blocks at £89.99! It got as low as £56 on Tesco which is completely unnecessary, but offers ridiculous good value for you!!

It's a shame, but apart from stock we sold at launch we have had to sell this set stock at break even and at that we are still a lot more than the big boys... so similar to the claas chap we've stopped promoting the product as it's simply not worth our while.
