As has been said, I don't see how even with their buying power they're making any profit.

Has me tempted by the tractor and bucket wheel.
The Claas is the best of the bunch and a total bargain at £71.
In that case, done. Should fit nicely on the shelf next to the Arocs

I have the Claas Tractor & the Arocs Truck in my Tesco 'basket'.

Only allowed to buy one of them so which one is the better kit?

I'm slipping straight into the lego addicts category. After having finishing my GT3RS over Christmas, I have just received a Claas that I am itching to start!

I have both and its the Arocs for certain. The suspension / drivetrain is very impressive and the pneumantics are great too. The colours are a bit dull but thats the only complaint.

Sorely tempted with the Acros, however I did buy the Claas last week, and the caterham yesterday. Is it worth 110? I think I may have to splurg on it, the wife may however kill me!

Arocs is a great kit, I'm halfway through it at the moment but paid £125 a while back. Just bought the Claas, saving for a wedding though so putting it away as a birthday present!

Selling my Technic 911, built and stickers applied then disassembled and bagged up in freezer bags back into the original box. Sensible offers by email before I gumtree it on Tuesday.

Looking to buy a GT3 RS as a gift, wondering if anybody knows of any good deals or how long it'll be before we see some reductions on it?

Currently at £175 which is less than we all paid in the group buy (still very happy with the price from russ at Jadlam - none of us could have expected such a big price drop)

Amazon will do £175.99 at the moment.

It depends how long you can wait.

I got mine, (which I can't have till Christmas) when Tesco had 20% off £179.99, so it was £143.99.

So it depends how long you are willing to wait really if you want to try and get it cheaper.

The GT3 RS does rather well in a scale crash test!

I don't know if I've missed anything, but is there a group buy this year? Is there even anything good coming out? There doesn't seem to be anything interesting on the Lego website so maybe there just isn't anything worth doing a group buy for.

The 'big' sets haven't been released yet which might be why there's no GB discussions. The flagship for this year appears to be a large remote controlled 6 wheeled truck to be released in august.

In what sense? The group buy, or the new models?
