I keep meaning to strip mine down and try to get it working, I'm sure I saw a guide online for what needs to be done but can't find it anywhere.

Just a heads up - I was in Sports Direct earlier today and it looks like they have 20% off their Lego range - picked up the Senna McLaren for £56
