My son is 13 and is looking to sell his to fund his skateboard habit, I'm gutted!
Needs a fatherly chat. He can play with Scalextric when he is 30 and tired of falling off skateboards.

Perhaps you should buy it off him biggrin

My Wife found her old Banana Board in the shed a couple of weeks ago - I declined to have a go, remembering how they were lethal when I was ten, let alone 20 odd years later!

The days are getting shorter and it is nearly time for the toy that you never grow out of.

Don't think my other half would be amused at all with a pair of MK 1 Escorts.

She's pissed off enough with all the Lego Technic I have all over the house - dining room table actually!!!!

The old mans' digital setup (work in progress!)

He has an absurd amount of cars. I really need to photograph them.

MissB got me back into Scalextric a few Christmases back, she bought me the "007 Quantum of Solace" set with a tonne of extra track and a brace of Mk1 Escort Rally cars.

We set it up every Christmas for the week without fail. cool

After trying various Race of Champions style tracks I think I have now worked out how to replicate the pursuit format. Cars must start from the two inside lanes of the 4 lane section at the back.

Great circuit!

What size table is it going to need?

We're rigging stuff up like this at work - already have the blueprints for Dubai Autodrome & Abu Dhabi Yas Marina. Now we're just waiting for a client to go with it (i.e. pay) and we'll make them.

This is designed for a 10' x 5' table with a little extension for the loop before going under the bridge.

A modified table tennis table is my choice as it can be folded vertically out of the way for storage.

The 5' wide might be tight for my space, but I'll give it a plan in Trackpower to see the exact dimensions.

I have room for an L-shape table so the extended loop part would be fine.

Thanks for sharing this track plan.

What isn't clear from this angle is that the top corners are R4 R3 R3 R2 R3 R3 R2 R3 R3 R4. I will post up the overhead plan later.
