You will crash it and you will probably break it but that's half the fun. All the spares should be readily available at reasonable cost.
Absolutely - which is why I took the plunge and bought two (one for show and one for go) Did the same for the Super Champ!
But both awaiting time to permit build
Recently my boss bought a 1/18 scale RC, something I had previously dismissed as I already had a collection of 1/10 stuff. This thing was amazing fun though, and being so small you didn't need as much space to run it.
I sold a couple of my 1/10 buggies and put the money towards this little thing. It's ballistic! And you won't believe what they cost to buy!

Buggy came from Hobbyking.
Was about £48 inc. shipping an just required a receiver / battery to run. Batteries were £4.56 each!
However... It's already broken.
It's incredibly rapid, but the spur gear is a real weak spot. A bloke in Belarus (of all places) makes custom hardened steel spurs and critically the spur gear support which keeps the gears 'square' so they form a decent mesh. I can still use the buggy, it just sounds like a petrol lawnmower where the spur has teeth missing.
Currently resides on my desk in bits
Recently fixed up this old GTR which I built around 10 years ago before I could drive 'real cars'. Paintwork isn't great, but the stickers were mostly all custom-made and designed by me, I used the videogame GT4 to get all my references and designed most of the stickers in MS Paint or Word!! The 'GT' silver parts are all painted, took forever to mask it all.
Recently refurbed with new lights front and rear and fixed the chassis up so I can patrol some car parks!

Just picked up this for my Birthday! I had one back in 94 so it'll be weird building it again (although my Dad did most of it back then) ;-)
Wow, cool cool cool! I remember when I was racing late 80's / early 90's these were the thing to have in 2wd. I raced 4wd with an Optima Mid and a Schumacher Pro Cat. Good days! So, is this a re-release version like Tamiya are doing, or an all-new RC10 or what?

Yeah they've done a re-release of the classic Gold Tub RC10 and also now the Worlds Car which is way more competition focused :-) So, is this a re-release version like Tamiya are doing, or an all-new RC10 or what?
