Making a graphic designer jealous here. Wish I'd chosen this as my design discipline. Good work.
Thanks. My design skills are not great, but I enjoy the model making biggrin

Wow that's very impressive buddy.

How many hours did you put into the model?
Thanks. IIRC that model took around 4-5 months after the design was signed off. Bear in mind I rarely spent full days on it due to other lectures, and the doors were locked at 7pm.

Knowing what I know now, and where I am working, and the equipment to hand, I could quite likely knock out a model in the same scale, just the clay, in a few weeks.

Hey All!

Just thought I'd update this again. When I was taken on by the OEM back in April 2014, it was as a trainee, and on a contract basis. The whole idea was the contract would get renewed every 12 months for a period of 3 years provided I was doing ok.

In April, a year in, I was asked if I would like to become part of the permanent team, as they wanted to keep hold of me. I jumped at the opportunity, things have been a bit slow moving, but as of Monday I won't be a trainee, and will be part of the permanent team!

I've worked on a fair few things now. None of which are on the road yet, but are on the horizon. That'll be pretty cool to see.

The MG is still pride of place on my desk, 5 years old this year, and its still holding up pretty well.

Cheers

Ben
