I caved in yesterday and got Grandpa and Scratchy (was looking for a Mr.Burns but the patient GF had enough of my grabbing each packet!)

I only got Grandpa for the 'local man yells at cloud' paper he's holding hehe

I have a spare Ralph Wiggum and possibly Grampa Simpson (depending if the ebay buyer who bought it last week pays before the end of the week) if anyone is interested in a swap.

I have the full set now but would be happy to swap for any of the normal series of minifigures or the cat lady from the Lego movie which is the only one we need to complete that set.

Each party pays their own postage, no cash involved just straight swap.

As of tonight my daughter (6yrs old) has the full set of Simpsons figures and the full set of Lego Movie figures.

I didn't realise until I read this thread that there were so many to choose from going back years, I might need to start a wee collection!

Thread resurrection:
Anyone collecting the minifigures from the new Batman film?
I thought I'd try "just one" on Saturday in the vain hope I might get Batman with the guitar or something. I got some weird character with flippers for arms and a Shark-shaped hood.
At £3 I fear it could be a bit of a slippery slope.

Being a massive KISS fan he's the one I wanted. Bought from eBay for £4.99 saved me the hassle.

I ended up buying a case on ebay - £161 I think, one set for me and one each fro two mates. Much less hassle and cheaper.

There is a code of little dots on the bottom sealed edge of the packaging. Pretty hard to notice, but once you know what you are looking for they are pretty easy to read. I don't know if the Batman codes have been worked out yet, but the previous Edition 16(?) is. We were looking for the banana guy for a Christmas stocking stuffer.

Does anyone tend to swap figures they have doubled up on? Anyone need the pink commissioner's daughter?
Is there a guide to the dots which tell you what figure is to the bag?
