Talking of UCS, I got a few £££ for selling some shares recently and treated myself to this;

It's quite impressive isn't it (and a lot sturdier than the original UCS Star Destroyer).http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Super-Star-Destroyer-10...
I've avoided the mini-figures, my girlfriend occasionally buys them for me as a treat if she spots them out shopping, I didn't want to get 'sucked in' to more Lego collecting.
I just amuse myself with the big Star Wars sets (although I do wish they would do packs of Stormtroopers, I quite fancy an array of them under the Star Destroyers).

I'm very late to the UCS band-wagon unfortunately. Would love to have been on-board to buy the Falcon and the Star Destroyer. They're going for a ridiculous amount at the moment. Death star 1 is available again for £275, so I'm tempted by that. Does the normal Star Destroyer have an interior?I've avoided the mini-figures, my girlfriend occasionally buys them for me as a treat if she spots them out shopping, I didn't want to get 'sucked in' to more Lego collecting.

No, it doesn't - it does have rather large panels though. The bottom two of which are, in part, held in place by magnets which means they have a tendency to drop down if you breath in its direction (I think this was a fault they were trying to correct with the SSD).I have the Millennium Falcon as well (it's been sat in its box unbuilt for a few years now - I didn't have the space for it once built) also:
The original X-wing
Red 5 X-wing
Y-wing
B-wing
Vaders TIE Advanced
Lambda class Imperial Shuttle
R2-D2
AT-ST
Plus some non UCS ones - AT-AT, Tantive IV, TIE Interceptor, a Technic Battledroid.

Nice!! The Falcon was alwys the one wasn't it, as they built it to scale with the mini-figures, I think it's the biggest set Lego have ever produced with over 5000 pieces.I have the Millennium Falcon as well (it's been sat in its box unbuilt for a few years now - I didn't have the space for it once built) also:

I thought Tantive IV was UCS? Though I guess not, it can be had on the Bay for less than £250.
That does sound like a very odd way of holding parts on though, using magnets, I guess they should have tried with stronger magnets or, more properly, used Lego. Maybe they were unsure due to the size of the panels that the studs could hold them in place.
Apologies to all, maybe we should have a Star Wars Lego thread!
