As a massive Riccardo Patrese fan, here's the Minichamps Brabham BMW BT52 from 1983. I love this model! The BT52 has got to be one of the best looking F1 cars ever.
Hi Darren, I've seen these go for a decent sum on ebay. Looks great and certainly something I'd like to add to my collection in the future. What's the detail like up close? Any issues with the decals fading/cracking/coming off?Unfortunately, I've been naughty.
New year's resolution to stop buying new models.
1st of Jan I bought this:
Minichamps McLaren F1 1/12
2nd Jan I bought this:
Minichamps Bruno Spengler M3 DTM 2012

I've had the Brabham quite a few years, all decals still in excellent condition. For the money, the details are great i think. The 1991 Williams I have ordered also has removeable cowl so hopefully that will be as good. There is a BT52 on ebay at present -

I will try and get some pics of my 'fleet' this week. I've been trying to find places around the house to get them on display so I picked up a Tamco display case from Modelzone in Smiths in Brum last weekend.
What a piece of st. I didn't expect much for a tenner admittedly, but to be able to focus on the model inside would be nice Anyone else used the Tamco cases?

That does look very good. I have the works model by Otto. Was given to me as a birthday present last year despite the fact I moved away from diecast and into kits.http://www.wonderlandmodels.com/products/sun-star-...
Pics when you have it at hand?

Am i the only person who thinks that the FW14 is beautiful looking race car? Particularly when compared with the ugly things we get lumbered with today?
I have this FW14 with one slight difference - Red 5!!!
No, me too. The FW14 is a fantastic looking car, especially White 6! The model is really good, and the Camel decals finish it off nicely.I have this FW14 with one slight difference - Red 5!!!
