Further pictures...

The DS5 underwent quite major modifications; scratchbuilt 19" Cairn alloys (resin cast), external changes, suspension tweaks, changed interior upholstery and converted from LHD to RHD, all to make it an exact replica my 1:1 scale DS5. A few small things still to finish but 99% of the way there.

Very nice Muddle!

Would love a 1/18th SM, who produces the model, and did you make up the number plates and GB stickers yourself..?

Cheers wink

Thanks very much, it's an ever growing collection despite telling my OH that I have finished collecting.. *cough*

The SM is Norev 181583, the colour is Scarabee Brown. They're still widely available on ebay, that's where I sourced mine. The SM is a great model, the interior and engine bay is incredibly detailed, the doors, bonnet and boot all open up. The chrome parts are all nicely finished too, although the best feature has to be the working hyrdropneumatic suspension. It's the same setup as in the DS23 and ID21 Break, Norev engineered a mechanism which allows you to display the model with suspension either in the high, normal or lowered positions.

Yup I created all the plates and GB stickers, mainly fictious plates but based off real DS', SM's, CX's and so on.

Will try to post up a couple of Land Rovers later.

Great models, obviously, but this in particular is a excellent photo with the way you've staged it!

Glad you like it, might need to redo some of the number plates at some point, the way the paper is curving gives it away as a model more easily. Same on several of the Land Rovers..

Print on card! How did you get the font for the plates?

Muddle 238, the Land Rovers look fantastic but I'm afraid the Land Rover geek/penant in me has itchy teeth!

If that is on an F plate then it shouldn't have round fog and reverse lights and it will also not be a Defender as up until the introduction of the Discovery it was a One Ten.

I am sorry but I cannot help this!

New Drops (as the kool kidz say)

AutoArt R32 GTR 1/18

Always like the original Calsonic colourway from Godzilla.

If I was being picky, I'd say the wheels on the model aren't big enough compared to the real car.

Came from the ever excellent CK Model Cars in Germany. When I ordered they had a 10% off "Happy 30mins" which repeated a few times over a couple hours. So keep an eye out if you are considering buying from them. They also did have an eBay page. Full DHL tracking, so I recommend them.

Spark 1/43 Le Mans 2016 Porsche 919

This one I've been waiting for. Bought it from St Martins Models near Leicester Square in London. I was lucky enough to see this car when Mark Webber drive it around London early one morning. So just HAD to get a little one. biggrin
