I’ve succumbed; it’s finally happened. I have Star Wars Lego ships. Malevolence and the Republic Space drop-ship are mine, AT-AT, Star Destoyer and Falcon are being delivered by Santa, and Jabba’s barge will join me shortly. Sand crawler, Slave and Death Start to arrive in following months.
The new Sandcrawler is excellent, a very accurate model compared to my Star Wars Chronicles book. I will be selling my old Sandcrawler soon.

Mine needs rebuilding, its a very fragile model and doesn't like being transported.

It's ended up in a shopping cart several times, I'm just umm-ing whether, at a few more quid, the Death Star is the better buy at the moment.

The Sandcrawler does look neat tho'.
I don't have the Sandcrawler, so please take that into account. I do have the Death Star and it's a fantastic build, with so many clever little features. IMHO I imagine the Death Star to be the better model, with a longer build time and more intersting build if that helps.

20kg for £100?

How the hell did you find that little lot?

Looking forward to seeing some photos (can't open the ones you posted on my iPad).

If you have anything you don't want please Le me know - particularly interested in Star Wars kits.

Are they discontinued now? Showing as sold out on the Lego website and has been for a while. £285 is a great price even with the box damage.
If I were you, I'd build that one to display then go back and buy the other, keep it sealed under my bed for a few years.

Anyone know the returns policy of the Lego shop (instore, not online)? No information about it on the receipt.

Popped into the Lego Shop in the Metrocentre and they had some of the new Minecraft sets in -

- which i thought were coming out in November.

Within about 2 minutes of people realizing what they were the shelves were empty. I asked the assistant when they'd be getting more in and she said they didn't even know they were getting those that were on sale!

I bought the Crafting Box (£49.99) - which looks pretty cool - as a present for my daughter.

As well as a couple of large Chima figures for the son.

And i got the free Christmas Workshop and double points for myself! Wins all round!

Seems a bit strange they aren't on the website to buy though.

Metrocentre had a few Tumblers in as well. Might have to take advantage of my VIP points after Christmas...or do i wait for Slave 1...or the rumoured new UCS Millennium Falcon...????

Brighton had 2 Tumblers on the shelves today and as I had Santa's little helper with me I reduced their stock to one and made sure Christmas will be very black. A surprise bonus was the Elf toy workshop thrown in for free!

The Metrocentre shop took them off the shelves, I posted about it earlier in the thread. I read on another forum that Lego wanted to increase the demand for the tumbler and were removing them from sale for a while. Sure enough when I went back the tumbler display model was gone from the window and the shelves were empty when they'd been full two days prior.

As of Sunday, the Tumbler was in the main window display and there were (i think) at least 2 on the shelves.

Rumoured new UCS Falcon? WHO?! WHERE?!
Sorry - seems like the May 2015 UCS is a Tie Fighter and the Falcon will be later - all allegedly via Eurobricks forum.

Enjoyable? Or one of those repetitive ones that you just want to be over?

The SSD is an awesome model, it took me 15-16 hrs first time round, second time I built it (I took it apart to do it again, just because.....) took about 12 hrs.

It's very impressive when complete! smile

It is big!

How big?

I'm cracking on with my Maersk EEE.

Sadly it is quite a repetitive build so far. Although there are some lovely touchs, the engine in-particular also the prop sections.
