I have recently won an eBay auction for a 10295 Porsche 911. It’s just turned up and it’s not in great condition. A number of the pieces have started to yellow quite badly which wasn’t mentioned in the auction.
Is there any way to recover these back to white?
First thing I would do is complain to the seller if it wasn't mentioned. Yellowing/discoloration is pretty obvious even for a Lego novice, so it should have been mentioned. It's caused by the bricks being in sunlight. Not even bright direct sunlight. White & light grey are the worst for it. Is there any way to recover these back to white?
To fix, Hydrogen Peroxide and sunlight. Yes, the same sunlight thing that causes it, fixes it (apparently). Here's a vid, I like Jang, he knows his Lego stuff:

Disclaimer, I tried this process once with some very, very yellowed bricks white bricks and whilst it made a big difference, it didn't work perfectly for me. But it was just a few bricks in a very small chinese takeaway tub to see if it worked, and on a day that was somewhat more overcast than sunny and I only tried once as I'm lazy and just bought new ones.
Sorry, I've probably not helped at all!

I was going to place a second order to get another copy of that freebie set - I haven't built the one I've got yet but it is probably one of my favourite nostalgia sets. I had all of the original space sets it reimagines. Wish I'd not sold my childhood Lego when I was 17.Supra by Lewis Craik, on Flickr
I built the GR Supra yesterday, a fun build, but too many stickers for my liking.

Not the easiest shape to transfer to a Lego build I guess.
