I've had these for ages, only just put them together and going to make a stand for them as well.

Anyone have any idea about Chima?

Nipper has asked for it for Christmas, having a look on Russy's site but can't figure out what the 'right' sets to get are - budget around £15, we've already got his 'main' present.

Although he's got various City and Technic sets, this will be his first Chima set.

Cheers!

Could be a nice starter set for chima, some sets around £25 half price as well if you want to spend a bit extra.

Sold!

However, out of stock for delivery, and nearest T'r'U is over 50 miles away...

Any kind PHers near one that'd be willing to pick it up and post to me? PM if so!

Detective's Office modular pictures are starting to appear. As well as a Ace Brickman's office it has a pool hall, barbers shop, an alley way and apartments.

I know what I'm asking for my birthday!

It looks like Amazon is having a LEGO sale at the moment. Set 60052 looks particularly good value - £167.99 down to £99.99.

This is available here in NL at the moment - may have to go and buy a few, its a bargain!!

€151 is about £120, which seems fine value...
That is incredibly good value. I saw something similar with the 7939 train set a few months back as well.

On another note, I've just ordered this set from Bricklink:

It is allegedly in perfect condition - I will find out when it arrives!

Looks like one of my modulars may have to disappear for this - love it.

Hope this one makes it to production:

Got me a Shell truck with my V-Power this week. Brilliant little set.

Sorely tempted by the UCS X Wing, which has £25 off today at the Lego stores and online, and a further 5% VIP discount. I just pre-emptively blew Christmas funds (and then some) on a PS4 so I suspect SWMBO would take exception. Justifiably, if I'm honest, given current levels if disposable income.

I wonder whether I can persuade her it's an investment at that price....? wink

I quite fancy a PS4 but out of funds at the moment, might wait to see if the prices drop a little as the x bone has been getting some better deals than ps4 lately.

Onto LEGO, the Detective office looks nice, if a little small, its not very deep, I was surprised how big the Slave 1 was, although 3 figures is a bit stingy.

I ended up with a Parisian Restaurant, bit of pre bf vip discount and a copy of Blocks issue 2 from the local WH smiths.

That's available at Argos with the extra 15% off until Tuesday - £95.19. Out of stock at most stores and for home delivery though.

I was going to get Benny' Spaceship from Argos (£59.99 less a further 15%) but they're out of stock everywhere it seems frown

I bought a load of Star Wars Lego the weekend from a antique/craft centre. I bought them on impulse hoping they would be a good investment. I have no idea what they are worth, so can anybody estimate a value on them here?

Like I said, no idea on value. It was 20+ years ago I last played with the little bricks. These were all in a big cardboard box with a price tag on it.

Boxes are a little bit worn and some have faded a bit. But they are all sealed.

7124 - Flash Speeder
7131 - Anakins pod racer
7200 - Final Duel 1
7663 - Sith Infiltrator Ltd Edition
7166 - Imperial shuttle
4500 - Rebel Snowspeeder
6207 - A wing fighter.

Off my geek radar. So no idea!

Thanks for checking. Paid £30 for the lot, so there should be a nice return.

Could be good.

You could have done with taking stuff to brick 2014. Should be plenty for sale there.
