I got this for Christmas and built it over a couple of evenings. Sorry for the camera phone picture.

Edited to add that it looked like I was beaten to it smile

You could do with a small At-At to go with that.

I've acquired LDD file and parts list for that AT-AT.

Watch this space.

Its a very cool MOC. Too expensive to obtain all the parts I fear. Before starting check out these sites -

I read those earlier, it sounds tricky but nothing particularly off putting. I have a budget in mind for the parts which should more than cover it.

In that case it's merely a case of creating the 'right' Costco treatment to absorb the spend...

Thanks, It won't be happening for a while yet though, i'm mindful of the fact that I recently had an expensive set in the 10179 Millennium Falcon, so to squeeze another potentially 4 figure set past the missus so soon is pushing it somewhat!

I have stacks of duplicate minifigures going back to around series 8 or 9 plus a number of Simpsons, Lego Movie and London 2012 Olympics figures that I really ought to stick on ebay. Hopefully they might be worth something decent by now and could help soften the blow.

When the time comes I'll be happy to do another build log if anyone is interested.

I'd keep a watch on the rare parts if I were you, if they have been going up for the last 6 months and still are, you might want to order them sooner rather than later.

I'll take the olympic ones off your hands. Let me me know a price if interested.

I'm also after quite a few series 8 and 9 so I'll take those as well.

By rare parts, are we talking about the discs used on the legs? or are there others I should be aware of?

This was written on brickset.

One thing I will mention from talking with the seller is that apparently the rare parts (8 x 8 dishes, large wheels, barrels) are PAINTED to match the other lbg parts. That would certainly account for the price. No I personally wouldn't work with painted parts but as I understand it substitutions can be made for these super rare/expensive parts for a relatively low price.

Oh dear, I don't think I've ever left a Lego set unbuilt for more than a day but I seem to have had too little time since Christmas! Two of the Mixels are made but the rest of the sets below are unopened yet.

My daughter got the beach house for Christmas. Great kit.

She's been constantly swapping between the different versions and coming up with her own improvements.
