dodgy logo on the studs, not sure if it's just really old, or a fake

It was called M20 then Modulex, if it says LEGO on the studs it was made between 1963-65.

http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/Modulex

The blue studs are standard LEGO 1x1 bricks for scale.

I love it but that is a lot of money, I'd rather the Tumbler / Slave I and an At-At to be honest.

Be interesting to know how much the minifigs will sell for.

You can get £80 or so from the tumblers 2 figures at the right time, making the model cheaper.

My Chrome Storm Trooper arrived recently.

That helicarrier is freakin' awesome and going straight in my shopping cart.

Today, a bit of Trevi action:

I built one of those a while ago. The new Louvre model looks nice and a similar size.

I'd expect it to be a LEGO exclusive. At least for 6 months / a year.

Isn't it a Lego Ideas set? Do they carry different selling rules from Lego for retailers?

No - this is the official Lego set. Available to VIPs mid Feb I believe. Order button in standby. Going to cost a fair whack (£270?) but worth it - to me at least.

May buy one and mothball one.

The Hellicarrier is epic however £270......

As for the Trevi Fountain. I bought it, built it, wished I had never bought it, took it to pieces & stuck it in the cupboard. Hate it.

You should probably sell R2-D2, he's worth a fair bit since he was discontinued.

He should probably sell all of his Lego and not buy any more! I've never seen Lego inspire such hatred in someone laugh

I thought it was the Helicarrier from Ideas that had been approved. Looks like I was wrong after a quick visit to the Ideas website it's in review still. However, I still really want one.
