I asked about the R2D2 set in the past and he said he doesn't get to stock the UCS stuff and the like.

I have to say, the UCS TIE didn't blow be away from the early pics. A lot of wings and not a lot else. Nice, yes, but there are other kits I'd prefer for the money.

Coincidentally though, Argos has got the UCS 10240 Red Five X-Wing down from £170 to £115, if you can find one with stock. It's classed as stock from the old catalogue so it doesn't show online - you need to call the automated stock check line and enter the code for your local stock. The AT AT, Falcon, Star Destroyer and Mos Eiseley are also marked down.

Got an X Wing reserved but I'm trying to convince myself that I can justify even £115. I keep telling myself that it's discontinued now so must surely appreciate....

As above. They are leaning more towards keeping all big lines like this in house going forward. So whilst I'd love to stock and supply these I simply won't have the option...
