is the noun LEGO countable or uncountable?
I keep seeing news articles using the word Legos. it's confusing me.
"Legos" seems to be favoured by the Americans. Has, and always will be "Lego" for me I keep seeing news articles using the word Legos. it's confusing me.

Ill pop my account manager an email about it, but as I have said before LEGO keep a lot of these big lines to themselves and strike the odd deal with people like John Lewis etc. Plus I haven't seen it on this years launch schedule yet - so its more than likely something they are keeping internally....
Account Manager has confirmed that this F40 Kit will not be available to independents, so any chance of a group buy is out of the window. Your best bet will be to just buy it off LEGO and get your VIP's.russy01 said:

Yeah, definitely please. I envy your ability to buy it and your understanding missus for not vetoeing it (as mine would!)
Actually she was a little less understanding about this one, it came in at around triple the estimate!Don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly skint, it's just my better half's an accountant and she really doesn't get the cost/enjoyment of Lego.....sadly.

Hello,Yes it was three times the price I thought it would be. I spent a couple of hours over the weekend starting to build mine though a lot of it was sorting parts. We are going to build two of them (one at home and one at work), I needed to get in touch with Pete really on as there was confusion on about the top edges of the feet but all sorted now. hopefully i will have time to build some more over the coming weeks but not sure when.
Good luck with it, be good to share some experiences of the build, contacting me on the message button would be good.
Here are the feet so far.
Paul......
I downloaded the plans a few months ago for the McLaren MP4-4. It took a couple of months to get all of the parts together, some new, some second hand through Bricklink.
Finished building it the other day, just a couple of minor bits left to do, but as it stands 99.5% complete
Before anyone asks I thinks its cost somewhere between £100-£150 to get all the parts together, biggest single expense were the rear wheels!
It was also much larger than I initially thought...!!!
Anyway here are a coupe of pics

Yep, love that.
Does it have any functions?
Needs Marboro stickers/decals! Oh, and the Boss one along with the driver surname on the airbox/roll hoop...
There are no motorised functions, but does have working suspension and steering, also the V6 engine is under the bodywork and connected to the rear wheels with the standard Lego differential. There is a sticker sheet with the online plans, but the way its set up makes it really difficult to print anything off, especially to the right scale. All print options are disabled and I cant download to a pdf or anything like that.Does it have any functions?

In all honesty I can se me keeping it for a little while, but selling it on complete at some point in the future. For where I am currently its taking up too much space. The drawers that its on used to have a 32" TV on them so thats a good indicator of how big it is....!
