Unless you fit UK number plates then it has to be LHD as the ones supplied are German.

I was thinking of leaving the plates off when I build it so it might end up RHD.

I do love the AT legs in the background of the townscape, it's like they're being invaded.

So is he. They have a habit of ending up in bits when they are put together.

He was sounding a bit "on the edge" in some of his later posts!! I wonder if he's curled up in a ball at the base of those magnificent shelves, just rocking to and fro, slowly,

"...it puts the brick's into the basket....or it gets the hose again......"

Lol, sorry guys. I'm fine and it's fine, just had a bit of a break from it.

I'll see if I can get some done this weekend

OK, but no shots of you tucking your bits between your legs and prancing around!

Ok, so after a week off, the right side is done and fitted. The instructions for this side were far more sensible than then left side and a s a result it went together a lot easier and with no breakages. However, it required a hell of lot more bricks than the parts list would have me believe, therefore I would like to thank my Micro Fighter Star Destroyer, Micro Fighter AT-AT, regular AT-AT, 3x BTTF DeLorean's, Trevi Fountain and Tower Bridge for giving up the ghost to make this side a reality.

So despite spending a small fortune on the pieces you were still short?

I was being dramatic, it was no more than a couple from each model, mainly 1 x 1 bricks.

Having bought it and started it nearly two years ago, I finally got around during a week off last week to completing the 8653 1:10 Racers Ferrari Enzo kit. Depressingly, it was missing a few pieces - the perils of buying from ebay, I suppose - but relatively inconsequential ones that only really prevented me from putting one of the headlight fittings on.

Nice kit - and larger than I had thought it would be.

It's not much to look at, nor do I know how it attaches but this is the neck.

Loving that. It kind of looks... anatomical.... like a neck in a butchers shop or something!

Did anyone see that "Collectaholics" program on last night?

There was a guy on there who's house was full of lego, he was quite high on the Autistic spectrum so sorting and cataloguing his bricks helped him deal with his ADHD and Aspergers syndrome. His garage was just rammed with racking full of boxes of bricks.

He was asked to display a massive townscape at the Brick exhibition in London, really nice seeing him share his hobby with others, and the program handled it very sensitively. Well worth a watch.

Does he post here by any chance? I know it wasn't me because I'm certain I'd be aware if I'd been on telly for my Lego collection...

Email just received - VIP Access to Quick-E-Mart now running.

I still have the Marvel Helicarrier to build so think i'm gonna have to give this a miss for now (I also have a new car that is taking my money for the time being biggrin).
