Email just received - VIP Access to Quick-E-Mart now running.

I still have the Marvel Helicarrier to build so think i'm gonna have to give this a miss for now (I also have a new car that is taking my money for the time being biggrin).
Me too. I have a full set of Speed Champions and a very broken real car so I think I'm out for now. Although it looks really cool.

Yep ordered!

Russ - I know you sell the full boxes of collectable figures, but do you sort through them and sell them as sets?

Just asking as I bought a full box of simpsons figures last time, but can't really be bothered again but want the full set!

Did anyone see that "Collectaholics" program on last night?

There was a guy on there who's house was full of lego, he was quite high on the Autistic spectrum so sorting and cataloguing his bricks helped him deal with his ADHD and Aspergers syndrome. His garage was just rammed with racking full of boxes of bricks.

He was asked to display a massive townscape at the Brick exhibition in London, really nice seeing him share his hobby with others, and the program handled it very sensitively. Well worth a watch.

Thanks for that, just watched
me and my son were at Brick 2014 while they were filming. Jasmine is rather lovely... The chap's lego display was amazing as well

Just throwing this in here.

Does anyone have any idea how Artifex Creation creates the 'growing' transitions in his/hers YouTube stop motion sets? (A few other channels do it too I've noticed - Alex's Planet, Minifigure Maniacs)

https://www.youtube.com/user/artifexcreation

I've done some small Lego set stop animations with my son and have used a basic 'cross dissolve' within Adobe Premiere - Artifex's way of doing it looks a lot more interesting.

Still can't work it out!

Cheers

Latest purchase to add to the ever growing collection.

Only cost me £39.99 as I had £40.00 worth of Lego/ToysrUs vouchers from earlier purchases this month.

Now I have to explain it to swmbo.

I guess the 'I bought it from a bloke off the Internet' excuse is now growing a little thin so time to invent another explanation!!!!!

I noticed that too.

Makes my £280 purchase 6 months ago look like a bargain (plus the set I arranged at the same price for another PHer).
Kicking myself massively for not ordering one frown Same goes for Sandcrawler which I could have had for 20% off at Smyths- although I did walk out with a Death Star and a couple of other sets at the time.

If anyone has a Lego ID, please could you vote for my brother's project?
https://ideas.lego.com/projects/55049

When I say that, my brother is working on the real thing, not the Lego one, but you know what I mean.
hehe

Thanks!

Yep, My SSD sits pride opf Place on the flat section on the stairs as you come into the flat, its like it was meant to be in terms iof size.

I got mine from Smyths when it was on special of about £270 or so.

Though ill never sell it. I will forever regret not getting the first Star Destroyer as its amazing but ebay now demands over £800 for them frown

Main purchase i want now is the Le-Mans technic car, but getting engaged last weekend means saving for wedding and house now takes massive precedence.

I know someone with the triple, 10179 Falcon, Death Star 2 and the Star Destroyer, if that's the one of a similar age, all sat in his loft sealed in the shipping boxes.

I've got the death star and star destroyer but I couldn't justify the £350 at the time for the Falcon frown

Both of mine have been built so I will have killed most of the value of them but they are great builds.
