Minifigs.me offer a great custom Lego mini figure service. I was given a Lego version of myself for my birthday last year that was purchased from them. The torso is printed with a hoodie that I own. If you look at my forum profile you can see a terrible photo of it. I also bought a Lego baby from them when our new son was born.

Pour it into a pillow case, tie the top and throw in the washing machine! Never done it myself but have been recommended to smile

Cold and wet and day off work so thought I would crack this open. Carling and an Ecig to keep me going.

Thats a lot of 1s and 16 repetitions

Turned out Ok

Had a few bits over. Counted out each pieces per page so assume they are spares.

Looks great, I've been considering one of these. What's the build time?

I finally built my Trevi Fountain today. Took just over an hour. There was quite a bit of repetition but not as much as the White House above!

I'm in two minds about the architecture sets. The presentation is lovely and the result can be quite accurate, but they feel a bit staid for Lego, as if they lack the surprise and delight you find in even simple small sets. The value isn't great (though they're more often available with a discount now) but the repetition probably means I won't bother buying more.

Caveat: I've been enjoying Friends sets recently, so perhaps my tastes aren't shared by all! Try Friends though, they're great colours and some interesting models. It's definitely still Lego.

I hate my Trevi Fountain - even more than I dislike R2D2!!!!

The Trevi is probably the worst Lego kit I have even bought.

You're not really a LEGO aficionado if you don't have one of these.

Does anyone have any experience using bricklink. I seem to be a whole jeep short of set 6552 + a few other bits and want to replace them. Mainly the jeep if not the other bits. Is Brinklink the best way?

Whats the story with selling off Lego that's been constructed?

I have quite a lot of the Galaxy squad sets, and a fair few of the city vehicles and 2 large technic construction kits (large mobile crane and tracked Rubbish tip grabber crane.

I still have instructions for them all but i just wondered if there was a market for these without the original boxes and separated into bags etc?

any lego will sell on ebay, boxed or unboxed, either loose (by weight) or complete sets.

I sold some smaller sets (the free ones in the daily mail..) at a car boot sale the other week but not for huge amounts of money. Look at sold listings on ebay for what sets you have to see what they have sold for
