Tried ordering big bang yesterday, but Lego site was playing silly buggers
Went down to the Lego shop in Delft yesterday morning you had previously recommended. Good stock and friendly guy. He was explaining that Lego are getting more difficult about what sets they allow independents to sell as they want to push people to the Lego website. As a result he will not get Scooby Doo or Big Bang. He did have both the Crawler Crane and Mercedes Arocs.halfpenny43 said:

Get out of my local supply PS there's a great pub 10m up the canal.
So, an update on the AT-AT.
I've re-built the body for the third time and it now takes the weight of the neck and head without self destructing. But the neck can't take the weight of the head without trying to snap :-( I'll re-build it but I don't think I've made any mistakes and I can't see any way to strengthen it. I hate to say it, but I may have to resort to glue.

For a build that looks so cool when it's complete I'm absolutely gutted for you that it's causing so many problems! It isn't even a cheap build to do when you have to source all the parts! Still looking forward to seeing some shots of the finsihed article though.
Glad to hear you've persevered with the AT AT, Manic Moggy! I'd have thrown it out of the window in a frustrated huff weeks ago, if I were you!
Finished the F40 last night and I'll add my vote to the "Better than I thought it would be" column. It was an interesting build and it looks better in the plastic once completed than the pre-release photos suggested. The engine is a thing of beauty, and the designer gets full marks for the most innovative use for a Lego pistol!
It sits very nicely next to the Mini Cooper and VW Camper Van. Recommended.

Finished the f40 on Friday. The build wasn't quite as enjoyable as I'd hoped. So many small pieces made it a pain (finding the part I wanted was the problem) on the second set of parts I sorted the parts by colour which made things better, but I really need a better system. I think it took about 3 - 3 1/2 hours. It does come together really nicely though and looks very good when finished.
On a separate note: the designer must be working on another level. The mix of parts and techniques is about as eclectic as I've ever seen. I would love to see more super cars being done to the same scale, but won't hold my breath.

In order for me to be able to finish the AT-AT, I need to resort to using glue :-(
If I understand correctly, super glue melts plastic, so what tyoe of glue should I be using?
In this instance I think Krazy Glue (Kragle!!) would be appropriate but I don't know if it'll damage the bricks.
