I was lucky to get one when they went on sale. It's now worth 4 times what it cost here in Holland.

I also have an unopened unimog which seems to be appreciating too.

There was a bloke in the UK buying loads of these up, When they first sold out, sold him some of mine for £350 a set. they don't seem to be making that much now so not sure they were a wise investment in 'bulk'

I did the same, bought one for retail and sold it just before christmas for 350.

Are there any more ltd edition sets up and coming?

According to this the WallE was limited to 150 sets. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/D23-2015-Disney-LEGO-WAL...

I think it's the signed ones that are limited I can't see Lego going to the effort of producing a set and only producing 150 of them.

That's just for the signed ones. Standard WallE will be run in much larger numbers - Russ will know smile

D23 is a recent expo. I think they did the official reveal of Wall-e there, so probably there to give a brief talk and promote the model.

It should be available all over the place 1st of September I believe.

I'm a big fan of Lego but paying for the autograph of one of the set designers? That's not normal. Weirdos.

Anyone got #10213?

I have it as a nice desk ornament, had a suspicion it would become quite collectable but far too nice to leave in the box smile

10213 was the first Lego set I bought for myself since I started getting back into it. I keep buying the sets I like, and I tell myself that they'll go up in value, but I cant see myself selling them either.

Pretty sure it was, i was chatting to one of the staff about how much Lego has changed over the years. He used it as an example of a lot of moulded pieces. I'll be back in Monday now

Yes too right! Toys will not be in short supply in our household.....

Anyway, I have popped a quick email through to the PH Technic list for a deal on the WALL E - I am hoping this covers most of you.

Not at all connected to any e-mail but I haven't seen the RRP confirmed for Wall-E in the UK. It seems to be stated as $49.99 in the US and €49.99 in Europe but I don't think they're reliable either.

Smyths show it at not available yet but listed at £39.99. It's the only price a quick Google threw up.

I figured it was probably wrong and a placeholder, in light of the group buy email

Cheers Russ - I'll be sticking an order in over the next day or two smile
