Ah, the old 'cheapest price on the internet' so top Google search rankings only to find there's no stock trick wink
Funnily enough, John Lewis are currently cheapest with stock at £39.99. Bit mysterious that it's not yet even on Lego's online shop site!

Yep, I'll be giving Russy a shout as soon as my last invoice has been paid.

May need to slip in a big technic set - or possibly the Kwik E Mart if Russ carries it?

Yeah I have it, well actually the other half, she built it. I think its quite good and seems to be quite a good recreation of the living room with good details.

I was in westfield stratford today so popped into the lego store to see if there was any chance of it being out early. Nope - release date is still the 1st. However bonus was the wife saw the Lego ferris wheel and rather liked it so I guess I won't have to 'justify' that one too much smile

Just seen a lego starwars super destroyer in a model shop in rome.

No price on it.

Also they are selling the f40 i thought that was a vip offer only.

Of the four Ideas sets currently listed, Wall-E looks incredible value; they seem to have fewer pieces as they increase in price, though I guess minifigs are the reason for that. Wall-E is 677 pieces for £39.99, Birds is 580 pieces for the same price, Ecto-1 is 508 pieces for £44.99 (inc 4 minifigs), Big Bang Theory is 484 pieces for £49.99 (with 7 minifigs).

Loving my Wall-E and I'm pleased to have him when there are rumours of a recall and delay in release. Odd; the swivelling neck is hardly a problem because he's just for posing, not playing with.

Lovely build, and quite an accurate model. I think he may make his way to my office desk

Thanks again for sorting me out Russy.
