So I have got the first set of 6 Star Wars build able figures and earlier when I was last minute Christmas shopping the toy shop in town had a few new characters.

When home I checked Lego online and they are not out until 1st Jan. But then I had £70 in vip points - so ordered the ups tie and red five xwing, oops.

Will be ordering the 6 new characters on 1st as well!

I couldn't afford the big one, so got the smaller one instead, figured it wouldn't be too bad for £60.

Anyone watching C4?

"Ben sold the family business to fund his board game"

What could go wrong!

You can buy the game but they don't even have the rules available on their website yet!

It looked a bit weird to me.

Anyway, here's a pic of two of the larger sets that my son got for Xmas, and a medium sized dog smile

I got one for my son as well. Quite a good build but the neck is seriously loose. I believe there's a fix available from Lego which fixes it. Might be worth getting in touch.

Check your instructions to be sure which version you have, the original instruction book is part number 6146259, revised instruction book is part number 6162870.

I recently bought from Tesco and got the new version. If you have the old one you should phone Lego and ask for the WALL-E fix, part number: 6162839, rework bag, 21303.

Wow, that KDV shuttle is huge next to the UCS Millenium Falcon!

I'm eyeing up the modular bank building. Lets hope they have some in stock at the Lego shop early next week smile

A tiny little bit of clingfilm put around the neck swivel peg and mine is perfect. no faff, no hassle, just a strip about 10mm wide and 30mm long.

Anyway....My wife knows I like the Architecture series and bought me these, Trevi Fountain and the Seattle Space Needle (excuse quick and dirty camera phone pic) :

Now I am after the Louvre and Falling water.

The boy got this for Christmas (along with Kylo Ren's shuttle and a Wookie Gunship). I spent all of Christmas morning building it. A realy good model, although the build gets a wee bit repetitive towards the end with all the roof plates.

I'm tempted to get the older version for myself, although it isn't cheap and the money could be better spent on the Ghostbuster's firehouse when it comes out.

However, I spent my Christmas money today smile

Nice little build Doctor Who - although I prefer it without all the inside "gubbings".

I'm midway through the falcon myself, an enjoyable build. Wouldn't mind kylo Ren's ship but not sure I'll get sign off from the financial director if I want any hope of the firehouse to go with my fresh built ecto1!

I'll be building a shelf for it in the lounge once I've finished building the model! I've only just got back into building models so te falcon and ecto1 are all I have to display.

Plenty of modular buildings to be going at.
