That annoucement only lists USD 79.99 / EUR 79,99 not the UK price.
Looking at other sets the Super Hero Airport Battle is USA: $79.99, UK: £69.99, EU: 79.99€
So I'd bet it will be £69.99
Sorry, I grabbed the link from a Facebook post that mentioned it. Only looked at the pictures myself wink

Smyths - 20% off everything in store apart from Video Games and Electronics.

The GT3 RS Technic is on their website too, 20% off £249.99 is a fair amount.

Just finished building it this week. I picked it up on ebay a couple of months back for around the same price using a discount code and I'd definitely recommend it - even at full price, TBH.

Thought I better finally get around to the Beetle with the Caterham on the way soon. Nice build and I love the colour. A Series 1 Land Rover would finish the set off nicely.

Well I did the Smyth's shop this weekend... 20% off, so I ended up with the Pet Store, the minifigs city pack, the new Gostbusters Ectomobile, advent calendar....

... And then I went to the Lego store...

I have just picked up 3 advent calenders for the kids and a few things for myself.

On another purchase, bought the Lego Scooby Doo complete sets for about 27% off on Amazon.

Good time to get S16 minifigs too, 3 for 2. Buy 15 for just under £25 instead of retail of £37.50 and get a £5 voucher. Keep going until your done, buy 60 for £100 (a box worth) and get £20 in vouchers, or another 12 minifigs if you spend the vouchers on them as well.

I've done some re-scaling of my Mini Cooper so that it fits next to the Beetle better.

I removed 2 studs from the width, and 2 from the length. The only non kit part I used was a smaller steering wheel. The proportions are a bit better I think, but still not quite right.

Also some reviews of the Caterham are online now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrIx2fpWX_E

I'm fairly sure I can see the Lego logo on the few visible studs.
