I'm about a third of the way through the Caterham build; some interesting techniques employed and quite good fun to assemble.

I know there's been some criticism of the look of the finished product but I quite like that it is recognisably both Caterham and Lego; if I wanted a 100% accurate scale model I'd go and buy one wink

quite chuffed with this, picked it up for a tenner from my local facebay group.

About 95% complete, some minor bricks missing but easily replaced.

The Caterham is pretty nice.

Not as good as the F40 IMO, but a good addition to the collection yes
Built mine at the weekend. Other than the front track looking a bit narrow compared to the rear (surely all 620Rs are wide-tracked?) I think it's fantastic and much nicer than the F40. Shame it's a different scale to the Camper and F40. I have the Mini Cooper sitting in its box but I assume the scale of that might match the Caterham.

mmm already thought about this, I think there is a small fortune to be made! But I like the proper stuff....where is the fun if you can afford and own every set! Part of the want is the saving for the items you cant necessarily just go and buy etc!

I take it Lego would not be too impressed if you started importing Lepin as well?

saying that, is there any reason it could not be sold in the Uk?

The Beatles Yellow Submarine set from the Ideas range which was approved in Q3 2015 will go on sale on 1st November, apparently.

No word yet on the Saturn V set which was approved in the same batch, and which I'm really looking forward to!

They really don't seem to have a coherent release schedule for Ideas sets, do they? I had no idea they'd release another so soon after the Caterham. £49.99 in the UK: https://ideas.lego.com/blogs/1-blog/post/90

Very impressed that the old fishing house made it through Idwas, really nice and completely different to anything else out there.

I quite like that they show up seemingly randomly and quite suddenly, particularly as most other lines are on a fairly consistent schedule.

It is the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 in 2019. Perhaps they are saving it until then?

Just picked up a second hand Disney castle to stash away until my little one is older.
Looks pretty awesome form the pictures earlier in this thread
Can't believe how much they are going for on ebay, the figures alone are £100 a set. £75 for a tinkerbell minifigure is astounding.

for anyone interested there are polybags with this weekends Daily Mail

May have to go have a look at this. At least I avoided a direct Daily Mail link.
