MK1 GTI has hit 10K on Ideas:

Great concept and detail but basic shape needs work.

Wrangler looks virtually production ready and gaining a good following:

Looks like there will be a handful of discounted items at, shop.lego.com on Friday. The two that are most likely to be of interest are the VW Camper Van and the UCS TIE Fighter. 20% off, I think.

11% cashback through Quidco too.
This is what the email contains...

Sounds like there will be extras too.

I only want the Snow Globe really.

After all the 3 for 2's, Toys 'R' Us buy one get one half price with vouchers and the London Store opening, I'm overly spent.

I've been holding off on the camper for ages so might go for that.

The VeeDub?
It's quite a good kit.
The interior even has blinds and a vase!

I love the VW Camper. Never seen it discounted by 20% so if you want it, now's got to be the time to buy. It's one of the few I doubt I'll ever take apart.

The F40 was dismantled last weekend.

Tie fighter for me, I've £85 in VIP points to spend so it will only cost me £51! Less whatever I see the snow globe for.

I checked for some stuff for my daughters Christmas presents, even with the lego shop discount they are still cheaper at asda and john lewis online!

The technic GT3 seems to be available plenty of places nicely under the £200 mark, so I couldn't resist.

Did get the camper in the end.

The Star Wars Droid Escape set is currently 50% off at Argos - £9.99. A nice little set and worth it for the minifigures alone.

It's only just retired - you should find it in the right bricks and mortar store.

http://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/lego-brick... - Birmingham Castle Vale Retail Park claims to have it in stock. ETA: and Coventry, and Oldbury though both state 'low stock'.
