Spotted the bat in the online shop, but there's nothing else I want to buy at the moment there so I'd have to pay £3.95 delivery. Nearest physical Lego shop to me is over 50 miles away. Most annoying! If it's not sold anywhere else I'll have to ask a friend in Cardiff to pick one up for me.
You can get one for £11.99 with free p & p from fleabay.

Or £8.49 plus P&P from the Lego online store. Not willing to pay £3.50 for delivery even though it's slightly cheaper than Lego's charge!

Just go to a LEGO Store, there's plenty more to spend your money on.

I did mention that above wink

If I was going to buy anything else I'd easily be able to push the total up to £50+ for free delivery online, but there seems to be nothing on special offer. I assume prices in Lego shops are the same as online?

Yeah, I meant once you go in you'll be suckered into buying loads so the travel cost will be insignificant wink.

If you want special offers get over to Argos for 3 for 2's.

I don't need to be suckered in - I'd be buying the Volvo from Amazon if that were the case. All I'm trying to do is buy the bat for no more than RRP!

There is a specific reason why I'm not willing to pay more; I ordered the Creator cat and mouse earlier this year, delivered from Australia, a week before they announced it would actually be coming to the UK for half what I paid. Not paying through the nose for Lego again...

Currently under strict instructions that I must not buy anymore Lego because, according to swmbo, it's an illness buying Lego at my age!!!!

So I said 'of course I will stop buying Lego if it makes you happy'.......

Today I bought this -

It had never been opened & the factory seals are intact.

Cost me £5.00!!!!!!!

Oopsssss!

Just opened the box - the instruction book is absolutely wonderful.

Properly bound, not cheap looking paper instructions, it has a detailed history of the fountain, its architect and some superb photos of the fountain.

Great stuff.

They were like that in the Architecture range first. Much nicer than the standard ones, pretty heavy when in multiple languages as well.

Trevi Fountain built in just over 2.5 hours.

It's an odd build as its a little fiddly to construct when creating the water effect. The finished kit isnt bad though for £5.00!!!!

There were only two Halloween Bats left in my local Lego shop, I bought one. I saw these great Christmas baubles filled with lego, and then dropped one and spilled lego all over the floor frown

Here is my stash for today. The Lego website said the research lab is out of stock, and the price on Amazon is shooting up. My local Lego shop still had loads of them though:

Do you think the Maersk container ship will be hard to find in the future? I get anxious trying to guess which ones will be gone and knowing which ones to buy. I wanted to buy every one of the modular buildings but missed the first few and now they cost ridiculous prices frown

It due to go EOL this year apparently, so if you want one, I'd get it sooner rather than later.
