Well? Has the nice lego man delivered them to you yet?
Keep up at the back!

OK chaps I have good news!

I have my delivery booked in for late Monday, LEGO have also given the all clear to send on receipt.

So I will try send on Monday if possible, but its more likely to be Tuesday - for Wednesday delivery.

Right chaps. Today couldn't have started worse, two members of warehouse staff were off due to sickness - which is a major ball ache on a Monday. However the stock did arrive nice and early.

Anyway to keep you happy, I left my executive chair and personally slogged away all afternoon and packed them all up myself. We then nearly had a problem as we filled the DPD lorry up, but with a bit of Tetris we managed to get it all on.

So I am pretty sure every order left today and should be out for delivery tomorrow. Those who supplied mobile numbers should have had texts by now, plus you should all get an email.

Cheers.

Russ, if it helps with your thoughts on switching to Yodel, the Mini arrived from Lego today and was left on our doorstep for the whole world to see, with a card through in the letter box saying 'Front Porsche'

Another thing ... Are you tempted to keep one of every set ? In your position I don't know if I could help myself !!

I've made my decision and we're staying out for now. Hearing too much crap about yodel - got enough on our plate already without dealing with extra delivery issues.

I often think of it, but with the amount of lines we stock (and the amount of lines LEGO keep releasing) things would get ridiculous. At the moment we have 454 LEGO lines in stock, where would I start? Plus where would I put them!!

Plus without sounding silly, seeing and dealing with hundreds of sets every day you soon get used to it and it just becomes work. It takes a fairly exciting (read expensive) set to get me excited nowadays - something like the 75054, 42030, 70816, 31313 etc. I generally take one of these home to play with!
You then have to factor in everything else we sell, I also love Scalextric, Tamiya RC stuff etc (have tons of that at home also) - so I have to draw a line and leave some in the warehouse for you lot....

However, Returns are my favourite! Over Christmas hundreds of boxes get damaged/returned/ unfit for resale. These then get dumped in our graveyard for sorting out after Christmas! So generally Jan/feb time I go through and steal anything I want to play with!

It very much depends on the circumstances, for the vast majority of items we are unable to get compensation (but would have replaced or refunded), so we need to try and recover any costs we can by selling as damaged/unboxed.

However for items where we manage to get compensation etc they usually end up with the kids of all our friends (or the dads!)

We also do a lot of charity stuff locally, every charity raffle/auction loves a scalextric set etc!!!

Nice to see some sets have been signed for already. The rest are all saying out for delivery - so good news.

Unfortunate for BaronVonVaderham as DPD says they have encountered a delay on his route and delivery may not happen today! Lets all take a few seconds to think of him in these sad times....

On a serious note mate, let me know if they give you any trouble and ill find out whats going on.
