For such a big build I'm surprised it's not bagged up in staged numberd bags like the crane is....? And one THICK instruction book...... read
There is a rare new version of the crane 42009 that is exactly the same but with 1 big instruction book. I'd rather have the 6 smaller ones though.

I forget you city boys spend half your day sat on a train. After my whole 15min commute I can crack open a cider and look over the fields!
15 minutes? That's triple mine!

The OH isn't happy all her kitchen tubs have gone...

Mine is currently about 5 mins (1.7 miles), BUT in about a months times I'm moving and will have to do a whole 15mins.

Has anybody taken a look at the 42029 or 42028 - as we did do quite a lot of these too. I like the look of the 42028.

Mine arrived yesterday morning exactly when the 7am text message told me it would. Great courier service and thanks to Russy for the brilliant offer and speedy despatch etc thumbup

I've finished the bulldozer already. Took a bit over 2 hours probably, but it's a nice model. The raising and lowering of the blade in particular feels nice and solid, althugh the tracks do take a bit of a shove to get them moving. There's a lot of resistance at work there I guess.

I may crack on with the Volvo tonight, if the wife is continuing to ignore me with a look of despair on her face......

I use tubs for some stuff, but also use freezer bags for larger items as they can be resealed. smile

Russ,

Tried to PM you over last couple of days re the group buy however each time I try I get an error message so I don't think that the emails have got through to you.

I'll try later tonight.

Hi mate, just buy one full price off the website tonight and we'll send it tomorrow for delivery on Friday. Pop a message on here when you have done so and I'll refund it down to the GB price.

Both mine arrived safe and sound yesterday - cheers Russ.

Just waiting for the Mini Cooper to turn up from Lego now before trying to explain to the wife why I have yet more boxes to add to the pile in the loft :-0

I collected mine yesterday, and saw the dimensions of it on the box, I then checked the shelf space were 8265 was... err... it's nearly twice the height of the shelf gap!

Some reorganising may be required...

Mine arrived today, sadly rather flatter than intended.

Russ, I dropped an email to the help at email address. What do you want me to do?

Managed to get a bit further last night, engine cover all in place now.

With any luck I'll be shovelling TV remotes, batteries and the Dog around the house tonight.

It appears I have the Australian version.

All easy enough, apart from doing my usual trick of installing the diff the wrong way round - make sure you double check, as a pain to disassemble and fix!

Thanks to Podie and Russ.

Got notification of mine shipping but thought it was something for work so didn't warn the wife.

I then got a call from her saying 'what have you bought from Lego, the girls are very excited' shame I disappointed them all (hehe)

One for the loft, one for build.

Along with the Mk1 crane from eBay, the MK2 from Russ and campervan from wife
