I have an old model BRM racing car that has been on display and I noticed that recently one of the tyres has perished and fallen off the wheel. I'm not sure of the scale but it was manufactured by the Crescent Toy Company.
Can anyone suggest a supplier to go to for replacement tyres?

Charming models, the Crescents, just unfortunately not as popular as the other manufacturers.

I've searched my 'scrap' tyres bin and I can't find any. I do have 4 Crescent tyres but they're attached to a 2.5L Mercedes Benz, so I'm not keen to give those up. Additionally, a new tyre is going to stand out like a sore thumb on your model, so the ideal is to hunt eBay for Crescent models/spares. Not ideal as you'd then probably end up with another model requiring tyres. I say ideal as there is one supplier;

'Crescent racing car Each 25p'

but you'll need to go old school to order (ring/write) and delivery is not speedy at times, to say the least.

Another option is to replace all the tyres with another type. The Dinky Supertoy round tread fits but is a slightly larger diameter, which is not an issue in this case of course as there are no wheel arches to worry about. If you fancy 4 of those, drop me a PM and for a few quid popped into a Macmillan charity tin, I'll get them in the post to you.
